Skagit Bluegrass & Country Music Association was formed in 1983 and started having monthly jams in Independence hall. In 1988 Frank Martin and Bill Christofferson asked the club to participate in the Loggerodeo by putting on a music show. The Bluegrass Jubilee has been going on ever since.
The 2014 events will be held at Evergreen Elementary. The Bluegrass Jubilee will be Saturday June 28th at 6:30pm ($4 for seniors and students, $5 regular admission)
The Gospel Music Show will be SUnday June 29th at 1:00pm by donation. !
The group’s monthly jams are the 1st Sunday of every month at 1:00pm. The Club gives new musicians a chance to practice with other musicians. The Club also donates each year to the local food bank and the Sedro-Woolley Transportation Christmas Fund.
